Illustrated image of possible steamboat with plume of steam with passengers in body of water with trees, hills, sky, and birds in background. Water contains lily pads, cattails, reeds, and other vegetation floating on surface.
Cancelled dark green 1 cent Benjamin Franklin stamp in proper upper right hand corner on reverse. Postmark is "MOSES LAKE, / FEB / 12 / A.M / 1909 / WASH." and is near stamp on reverse. Partial illegible upside down postmark near Moses Lake postcard on reverse. Reverse of card: "Post- Card. Postkart. Carte postale" printed on top half of postcard and "Th. E. L. 'Theochrom' Serie No. 1120 / Printed in Germany" printed near bottom edge of postcard. Illustrated shooting star and Th. E. L. logo printed in proper lower left hand corner on reverse. "Dear Nannie / I received your / pretty card and / was glad to hear / from you This / leaver us well / here hope it will / find you the same / we have fine weather / here. We are to have / an Oyster supper / tomorrow night / for the Christian / end Deavar love to / all, your Jessie MacDonald" is handwritten in cursive in black ink on correspondence side on reverse of postcard. "Miss Nannie Mc Rae / Kewanee / Haenry County / R L D Ills" is handwritten in cursive in black ink on address side on reverse of postcard.
