Scope & Content Black and white RPPC Ellis photo postcard on Kodak Paper with white border. "Street Scene - Moses Lake - Wa." in white on bottom of image. "Ellis / 4511" in white in proper lower left hand corner. Postcard is of a street scene in Moses Lake, WA. Image of paved street with automobiles parked on both sides, and buildings and street lights, telephone poles, and trees in background. Man crossing street and woman walking down sidewalk. Buildings in image are Sprouse Ritz Co., 5 & 10 Cent Store, Turf Cafe, dry cleaners building, gas station, Cash Store, Thrifty Drug, Sears, and Mel's. Automobiles include 1950s cars. Image appears to be Broadway Avenue and Beech.

Reverse of card: "PHOTO POST CARD / ADDRESS" printed on top half of postcard. "Kodak / PLACE / STAMP / HERE / Paper" in stamp box. Reverse of postcard has no stamp, address, or correspondence.

Archival History Hank & Dorothy Rittierodt lived in Moses Lake, WA from December 1945 to June 1961. They gave the postcards to the City of Moses Lake in November 2003. The City of Moses Lake transferred the postcards to the Museum on May 13, 2004.
