Scope & Content Brown paper envelope addressed to "Burgess Seed & Plant Co. / Galesburg, / Michigan." Seed company in printed on envelope, not handwritten. In proper upper right hand corner is "Please Write Your Name and Address Plainly / From" and three printed lines; "Mrs. John Ewald; / Neppel. / Washington." is handwritten in cursive in blue ink on the lines. Red 2 cent George Washington stamp in proper upper left hand corner. Postmark is "NEPPEL / MAR / 1 / P.M. / 1932 / WASH" and partially covers stamp. Envelope appears to be sealed and empty . On flap on back of envelope: "STOP / Have You Signed Your Name / and Complete Address." Staple through middle of envelope.
