Cancelled purple 3 cents Thomas Jefferson stamp in proper upper right hand corner on reverse. Postmark is "OPPORTUNITY / MAY 12 / 1030 AM / 1949 / WASH." and is near stamp on reverse. Reverse of card: "POSTCARD / CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS" printed on top half of postcard. "Hi Pat. / am at Arts', & Marena's, - left / Spokane, at 9:15 this morn. No work / at Moses Lake, but a wonderful / chance for a contractor. 2 P.M. now / & will run up to the ranch. saw Don / at Moses Lake & again at Cheney. / Everyone O.K. Love. --" is handwritten in cursive in blue ink on correspondence and address side on reverse of postcard. "Mrs. C.H. Weeks / 102 - 20th Ave. / Seattle 22 Wn." is handwritten in cursive in blue ink near top edge on reverse of postcard.
