Postcard is of a street scene in Moses Lake, WA. Image of dirt/gravel road with automobiles parked on both sides of road and buildings with telephone poles and trees in background. Buildings in image include a pool hall, a cafe, and Richfeld. Automobiles include 1940s cars. Four cars appear to be driving on road toward viewer. Image appears to be Broadway Avenue.
Cancelled green 1 cent George Washington stamp in proper upper right hand corner on reverse. Postmark is "MOSES LAKE, / JUL 11 / 8 -AM / 1947 / WASH." and is near stamp on reverse. Reverse of card: "POST CARD / CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS" printed on top half of postcard. "Dear Billy: / Thanks a lot for / your letter. Sure / glad to hear that / you were getting / to go places with / the 'Bs'. 'Am okay / only sure have a / lot of work to do. / Write to me often. / Tell Mother I'll try to / write to her tomorrow / Love 'Bus'" is handwritten in cursive in pencil on correspondence side on reverse of postcard. "Mr. Billy Routh / 240 Pierce St., / Twin Falls, Idaho" is handwritten in cursive in pencil on address side on reverse of postcard.
