Illustrated image of nine grazing sheep in grassy field with deciduous trees and sky with clouds in background. Cancelled dark green 1 cent Benjamin Franklin stamp in proper upper right hand corner on reverse. Postmark is "MOSES LAKE, / OCT / 30 / A.M / 1908 / WASH." and is near stamp on reverse. Partial illegible upside down postmark on stamp on reverse.
Reverse of card: "Post- Card. Postkart. Carte postale" printed on top half of postcard and "Th. E. L. 'Theochrom' Serie No. 1120 / Printed in Germany" printed near bottom edge of postcard. Illustrated shooting star and Th. E. L. logo printed in proper lower left hand corner on reverse. "Dear Friend / I got your card / and it is real pretty / Thank you for it / It is raining hear / This morning and makes / every body feel good / to see the rain all / well but Johnny / C.E. she dont feel / well. Come out and see / us Nannie we would / like to see you all / I will go back some / of these days after / I prove up on my loud / we have Preaching hear / This week. love to all / from all yours / Jessie MacDonald / write soon." is handwritten in cursive in black ink on correspondence side on reverse of postcard.
