Postcard is of a street scene in Moses Lake, WA. Image of road with automobiles parked on both sides, car driving on roadway and people walking along both sides of road. Buildings visible in image are Ralph's Grocery Market, Moses Lake Inn Cafe, Pool Hall, and Richfield Gas. Automobiles include 1940s cars. Image appears to be West Broadway Avenue.
Cancelled purple 1 cent George Washington stamp in proper upper right hand corner on reverse. Postmark is "MOSES LAKE / AUG 7 / 8 - AM / 1947 ; WASH." and is near stamp on reverse. Reverse of card: "POST CARD / CORRESPONDENCE ADDRESS" printed on top half of postcard. "1947" and "POSTCARD" are written near top edge of reverse of postcard. "Just Widing / of the Road. / Dad" is handwritten in cursive in black ink on correspondence side on reverse of postcard. "Miss Gladys Yerkan / 1338 No Montgomery / Bremerton / Wash." is handwritten in cursive in black ink on address side on reverse of postcard.
