Title Moses Lake: A New Frontier
Scope & Content Booklet, published in December 1952 by Standford University and prepared for the Board of Directors of Moses Lake Consolidate School District No. 161. Booklet discusses history of the school district of Moses Lake, WA and plans for its future. Topics covered include Moses Lake History, population trends, Moses Lake school enrollment, present facilities, future building needs, financial problems and requirements, administrative organization and the look ahead to future for the Moses Lake school district. Front cover is a black and white photograph of an irrigation canal with vegetation, telephones, and clouds in background. "MOSES LAKE" in white near top edge on front cover. "A New Frontier" in white near bottom edge on front cover. Back cover is a black and white photograph of an aerial view of Grand Coulee Dam and the surrounding landscape. Booklet is supplemented with black and white photographs of Moses Lake such as the Larson Air Force Base Elementary School, billboard advertising Farm-in-a-Day, and a Globe Master at Larson Air Force Base. Booklet lists the Board Directors for Moses Lake Consolidated School District No. 161: President, Russel Hansen; Vice-President, Dr. Harold Tracy; Member, George Knapp; Member, Ted Knutzen; Member, Evarest Olander, Superintendent, C.B. MC Fadden; Secretary, Orlena Henderson.
