Mrs. Osborne rented it from Hutchinson Office Supply in the 1950s and eventually bought it in 1955.
Remington Rand was formed as a result of the 1927 merger of the Remington Typewriter Company and the Rand Kardex Company. Its products included typewriters, adding machines and other office equipment and office filing systems.
