Farm-in-a-Day beanie, 1952. Burgundy fabric rounded brimless cap with five springs attached around cap. Each spring has a silver or green colored bell. Gold colored pinwheel on top of cap. "FARM - IN -A - DAY / MOSES LAKE, WA / BOWL CAFE / MAY 29, 1952" written in yellow paint on beanie.
Barbara Shay wrote a background on this object: "The beanie was brought home by my mother the day of the farm being built. We lived (still live) on what is now Road 'K.' At that time there was no houses around us. We walked across the road about 200 to 300 feet and set on the small hill, over looking the Farm-in-a-Day being built. Since we might get in the way, we were not allowed to go over."
