Photo: Group 8 No. 60: "So deep where they in ceremony only 7 yr old Rudy Saluskin knew I'd snapped this one. He stands by my digger the roots were Sakiwa. A similar ceremony was held for each variety: bell ringing, marching around, chant and prayer of Thanksgiving (I felt deeply their ceremony, but when Rudy said 'Don't you prey too?' I chanted. He climbed tall pines and jumped over our fires but when he caught fire I had to run him down--nothing upset thier calm!) Ceremony for Sa-ki-wa the big potatoe."
