Subject: Auto Repair Shop Remains After Fire
Photograph appeared in Columbia Basin Herald on 02/28/1961 with caption: "Remains of Auto Repair Shop -- Firemen spray water through burned out section of wall of Kittelson's Repair & Supplies Shop on E. Highway 10 that was destroyed by fire last night. Total damage to the building, tools, equipment and parts was estimated at $18,000, by Rudy Kittelson, shop owner. Firemen answered the call at 9:15 p.m. The fire was believed to have started inside the building, but cause was still undetermined this morning, firemen said. A crawler-type tractor and automobile, parked inside the building, also burned. -- Herald photo."
