Description Medium colored barbed stone point with parallel-sided stem and flat base. Point has unusually long stem.

A/L Barbed point, contracting stem, convex base. Very long, slender and tapering stem. May be hafted graver.

Vulcan, WA is a settlement on the east bank of the Columbia River, directly below Cabinet Rapids in the southwest corner of Douglas County. The place is in a hot, sandy area. It was named for the Roman god of fire because of intense heat in summer months.
